DARUMA’s KOGIN embroidery fabric features vertically elongated rectangular holes, so when you stitch a design, the finished pattern will appear slightly taller than the original chart. This makes it ideal for achieving a more traditional kogin-style look.
The fabric's surface is treated with a light starch finish, making the weave easier to see and stitch through. The thread spacing has been carefully adjusted to work perfectly with DARUMA's KOGIN Thread Cards and KOGIN Needles.
